July 2023 Favorites <3

Just to get it out in the open – I will probably NOT continue to do monthly favorites. I am lazy and honestly who finds new and interesting things every month? Who has the BUDGET for that.

Okie dokie – now into interesting things.

Skincare

I am trying to improve is my skincare routine. THE TIK TOK GIRLIES GOT TO ME.

This AVYA moisturizer has got me on LOCK. I hate the feeling of thick, sticky moisturizer or stuff that will melt in DC humidity. I need my skin to feel… skin-like or else I go feral.

It has hyaluronic acid (which is one of the only 3 skincare things I know) but honestly its the best moisturizer I have ever tried. Lazy but picky girl approved

Normally I will never link to Bezos boi’s site, but until I get a sweet deal with this brand – we will all have to compromise.

AVYA Moisturizer

Additionally the Anti-Aging community has come knocking at my door and the scare tactics are working. If there’s one thing I learned is moisturized = young.

After discovering this OSEA moisturizer and body oil you no longer have to worry about me being dry again.

I have been stopped and complimented on the scent of these products. Putting these on after a shower truly is an act of self healing.

Unfortunately I must buy these until I die.

OSEA Lotion

OSEA Oil

Random/ Kitchen?

I got this purely because it was cute. But dang is it good olive oil. I hate to say it but it really does improve the taste of your food.

Its the first olive oil that I have used that actually has a “olive-y” taste.

The price is a bit steep – if you aren’t a person who cooks maybe this isn’t the recommendation for you.

But if you are someone who needed the push to try it – here is my formal recommendation. Get it once as a little treat and see if you love it like I do.

Books

One will quickly notice that I have fallen down the Emily Henry rabbit hole. My time has come to be a Em Hen stan. To me summer reads have to be 1. easy 2. fun 3. motivate you to live a cute little life and Emily checks the boxes.

Beach Read

GREAT summer read. I really enjoyed the storyline because it is catered to adults. No need to feel ancient reading a YA book focused on a 17 year old when you can read the struggles of quirky 30 year old.

Goodreads : 5/5

Happy Place

Admittedly I am not done yet. But so far I am LOVING this book. I have a feeling about how it will end but more importantly I need to find a friend group who plans weeklong outings like Sabrina.

This month was focused on self care, relaxation and new experiences and I am really excited to share my favorites from this month with all of you! Let me know if you have tried/ read any of these and if you share my high regard.
